Waiver Services

Professional Development Credit

A certificate will be given to everyone who participates in the UW ECHO in Waiver Services sessions. There are two ways in which participants can receive credit:

  1. Attend the live sessions and submit the session evaluation. Your attendance and session evaluations will be tracked by UW ECHO staff and a certificate will be emailed to you approximately 1 week after the conclusion of a session.
  2. Complete online Waiver Services mini-courses. Mini-courses include session recordings paired with short assessments and assignments. You can find the listing of available mini-courses on the WyoLearn Catalog (link below). This credit option is available to anyone who cannot attend the live sessions on Wednesdays from 2 to 3pm. This will allow learners to catch up on past sessions easily. When the mini-course is completed, a certificate will be created for you automatically, and you may download or save the certificate.
    • New mini-courses are published approximately every 4 to 6 weeks  Check back often to register for new mini-courses.
    • To receive access to the course, please visit the WyoLearn Catalog. You will see course tiles for each available mini-course. Click on the mini-course tile to read more about the mini-course and to enroll.

For Case Managers: The UW ECHO Waiver Services sessions are approved by the Division for Community Choice Waiver Case Manager. Participants are to submit the professional development certificate as proof of the required annual training.

Session Videos

We house all of our session recordings on a website called iECHO. We encourage session participants to log onto iECHO and review session recordings as needed. Feel free to share helpful session recordings and information with colleagues!

In order to access the recordings for the UW ECHO in Waiver Services sessions you will need to request a username and password. Please e-mail projectecho@uwyo.edu and request access to iECHO.
