Meet Millie, a woman determined to maintain her independence after being diagnosed with Macular Degeneration.  Follow Millie through an average day and watch how she compensates for her loss of sight. Learn about the low- and high-tech devices and solutions she uses (and invents!) to live independently and enjoy her usual hobbies.

Tyler: Transition from Elementary to Junior High School

Teenager Tyler just entered junior high.  Watch to see how Tyler is able to communicate and participate in class alongside his peers through the use of assistive technologies. At an age when developing a sense of individuality is on the mind of every student, Tyler uses AT to experience independence, freedom, and personal interests.

Adyn: Transition into Kindergarten

Bubbly Adyn is beginning kindergarten. Born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Adyn uses a power wheelchair for mobility at home and at school. Watch as she plays, learns, and lives as freely as any other 6-year-old-smiling all the way!
