About the Wyoming AIDS / HIV Resource Directory

The Wyoming AIDS/HIV Resource Directory was made possible through funding from the CDC, Wyoming HIV Prevention Cooperative Agreement, Wyoming Department of Health - HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis Department, and the Wyoming AIDS Education and Training Center. The grant provided funds to the Connect Wyoming project to create a directory using information on AIDS and HIV related resources contained in the Pathways Plus database of human service programs, and the Warm Book of AIDS and HIV resources. In addition, these resources have been made accessible through this companion web site.

Information has been gathered on a variety of topics related to the many aspects of AIDS and HIV from prevention and diagnosis to treatment. Included are resources that will be helpful to patients, to their families and friends and to their medical providers. The information, because it is included in the Pathways Plus database, will be updated on an annual basis. This also provides a mechanism for the addition of new programs. Consequently, the search feature on this web site will always contain the most complete information on this subject. The print version will be re-released on a regular schedule, no less frequently than yearly, through the Pathways Plus directory service and made available for download from this web site.

This project would not have been possible without the very hard work of partners and team members. We would like to thank: Sharon Renter, Wyoming Department of Health-HIV/AID/Hepatitis, Anna Kinder, Director of the Wyoming AIDS Education and Training Center for her patience and guidance in developing this project.
