Barbara Roxas, B.S.

Barbara Roxas is a part-time family consultant for the Wyoming Family to Family Health Information Center.  Barbara is investigating and compiling resources and content information for the F2F website. She is also helping the project team with creating care coordination notebook systems for families using the national model of the medical home.

Barbara has a background as a Montessori educator in early childhood education.  She has worked with children and families for over 15 years and has taught in Montessori schools nationally and internationally including Minnesota, Michigan, Wyoming, and Japan. Barbara holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Teaching Certificate from The Montessori Training Center of Minnesota.

Barbara and her husband have lived in Laramie for five years and have a child with additional needs who is currently in the K-12 school system.  Barbara serves on the Steering Committee for the Family to Family project, is on the Civic Design Team for the Albany County Parent Leadership Training Institute, and is an active participant in Laramie families Engaging in Network and Support (LENS).
