Brittany has lived in Laramie the majority of her life and has grown to love Wyoming. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2015 with her bachelor’s degree in psychology and social sciences, and then graduated with her master’s degree in social work from Colorado State University in 2019. During her graduate program, Brittany completed her internship at Peak Wellness Center where she conducted clinical assessments and co-facilitated a substance abuse treatment group. She also completed her second internship at the Laramie Middle School working with students and their families to address their needs.
Prior to joining the WIND team, Brittany worked as a Learning and Development Specialist at an insurance company where she delivered virtual and in-person trainings, and created eLearning materials. She was president of the company's Giving Inspiration Through Volunteering (GIV) Committee during 2020, and has a lot of experience coordinating food drives and promoting non-profit volunteer initiatives. She currently serves on the board of Laramie Interfaith and is a member of WIND's accessibility committee. In her current role as a project coordinator, Brittany works with the Health Emphasis team to help provide access to health services and ensure that educational materials are accessible.
Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, as well as reading and writing in her spare time.
