Katie Lancaster is the Project Coordinator for the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities’ Sexual and Reproductive Health Project. In this position, Katie is tailoring the existing Friendships and Dating curriculum from the University of Alaska, Center for Human Development (UCEDD). The curriculum is designed to decrease rates of unintended pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections (STI), and interpersonal relationship violence and measure changes in relationships and social networks.

Katie received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Wyoming. She was also a disabilities studies minor during her undergraduate program. Before coming to WIND Katie was an advocate for Wyoming Protection and Advocacy.

In her spare time Katie loves doing anything outside including camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and taking pictures of nature.
