Kendall Corbett, B.A.
Kendall Corbett is the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities’ coordinator of consumer involvement. In this position, Kendall promotes consumer involvement, disability awareness, and community advocacy.
Kendall came to WIND in 2002 with an extensive background in disability work. He has experience in community relations, and has worked as training coordinator and relief staff supervisor for Community Connections in Durango, CO, and as an independent living specialist for Wyoming Independent Living Rehabilitation and outreach coordinator for Wyoming New Options in Technology. Kendall owned and was the principal consultant for Corbett and Associates Disability Consulting.
Kendall is a member of the AUCD Legislative Affairs Committee and serves as past family co-chair for the AUCD Council on Community Advocacy, and on that Council’s Steering Committee. Kendall serves in an as needed capacity to the Wyoming Developmental Disabilities Council’s Futures Committee and its Transportation sub-committee. He is also vice-chair of the Wyoming Statewide Independent Living Council. Kendall serves as the Chair of the Laramie Advisory Commission on Disabilities. On the university campus, Kendall takes part in the Campus Access Committee and Paratransit Advisory Committee.
Kendall received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wyoming.
