Wyoming Supports

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to pay for their child's eye exam and/or treatment.If parents have any concerns about payment, they are encouraged to contact the following:

  • Lions Clubs

Lions Clubs may provide financial assistance to those families who meet their income qualifications.

  • Sight for Students Program

 Please contact your local school nurse for information about assistance in financing an examination and/or treatment.

  • Medicaid

 Eligible families can contact their local Medicaid agency.

  • Maternal and Child Health

  • InfantSee/Wyoming Optometric Association

InfantSEE is a public health program, managed by Optometry's Charity the American Optometry Foundation (AOA). AOA is designed to ensure that eye and vision care becomes an integral part of infant wellness care to improve a child's quality of life. Under this program, AOA optometrists provide a comprehensive eye and vision assessments for infants within the first year of life regardless of a family's income or access to insurance coverage.
