Project Staff
Project Co-Director
Ms. Longhurst is the Associate Director of Disabilities Studies of the Wyoming INstitute for Disabilities (WIND) at the University of Wyoming. As the Principal Investigator of the WCMA program, Ms. Longhurst is responsible for the overall fiscal management and administrative operations.
Project Co-Director
Dr. Yocom is an Associate Professor of the Department of Special Education at the University of Wyoming. As the WCMA Project Co-Director, Dr. Yocom is responsible for oversight of the curriculum development and program implementation. Dr. Yocom is also an instructor and advisor for the WCMA certificate program.
Project Research Director
Dr. Simpson is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Special Education at the University of Wyoming. As the Project Research Director, Dr. Simpson is responsible for the project evaluation and research dissemination activities.
Curriculum Coordinator
Ms. Cowie serves as an Academic Instructor and interim Department Chair for the Department of Special Education at the University of Wyoming. As the WCMA Curriculum Coordinator, Ms. Cowie is responsible for designing the WCMA standards based curriculum modules for special educators and administrators. Ms. Cowie is also an instructor for the WCMA certificate program.
Project Coordinator
Ms. Kimbrough is a Project Coordinator at the Wyoming INstitute for Disabilities (WIND) and a doctoral student in Adult Learning and Technology in the College of Education at the University of Wyoming. As the WCMA Project Coordinator, Ms. Kimbrough is responsible for the coordination of the administrative activities and implementation of the project Institutes. Ms. Kimbrough is also an instructor for one course in the WCMA certificate program.
