Background and additional details:
A work group of WIN Wyoming members* has identified healthy school nutrition environments as a critical area for WIN Wyoming to address. Toward this end, the group is working to achieve these objectives:

• Identify existing policies and recommendations at the national level and at the state level in other states

• Draft a policy and recommendations for consideration by WIN Wyoming's Advisory Council and members--Soft Drinks in Wyoming Schools:  Health vs. Revenue Issues
  
• Identify and publicize successful efforts in Wyoming to promote healthy school nutrition environments--Success stories
  
• Provide practical guidance--See "Snack and Fundraising Ideas" above.
