Sat., Jan. 19th SPEAK Out presents Wyoming Equality Rocks.  Featured speakers Dr. Colleen Denney on Women’s Suffrage and Will Welch on LGBT legislation.

Mon., Feb. 4th Susan McKay Women’s International Research Fund Recipients Lecture and Reception Following.  Feature speakers Stephanie Anderson, Associate Professor of Political Science/Adjunct, Gender and Women’s Studies Program; and Pablo Zavala, Graduate Student in Spanish/Modern and Classical Languages.  CR 215  5-6:30pm   

Fri., Feb. 22nd “Lassos and Lassies: Gender, Whiteness and Power in Rodeo.” A brown bag lunch with co-authors Tracey Owens Patton and Sally M. Schedlock. A book signing reception to follow in Union. Wyoming Union 203 12:00-1pm Trace Owens Patton and Sally Schedlock at book signing

 Fri., March 8th/Sat., March 9th  Vagina Monologues.  A series of monologues about women’s bodies, violence, sexuality, and vaginas! College of Education Auditorium Fri., 7:00pm Sat., 7:00pm

Tues., March 12th  Marie Curie: Manya—A Living History of Marie Curie.  A performance by Susan Marie Frontczak recounting the life and times of scientist Marie Curie. Both performances in College of Education Auditorium:

10-11am school performance (for school age children and 11-11:30 Q and A) 

7:30pm    General Public performance

Tues., March 26th “Lipsticks and Lab Coats: Women’s Challenges and Journeys in STEM.” (STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Roundtable panel featuring STEM women faculty on campus. Wyoming Union 212, 12:00-2pm, Free Lunch Provided. Please contact Colleen Denney ( by March 21st if you plan to attend this event.
