UW Campus Breastfeeding Program

There are five on-campus rooms that have been identified for new mothers who need access to a private space to pump breast milk in the Wyoming Union 208, Health Sciences 299, College of Agriculture 244, Knight Hall 219 and the Early Care and Education Center 138. For more information on the program contact Human Resources, 766-2438.

Real Women, Real Bodies

A Registered Student Organization at UW that promotes positive body image.


Stop Violence Program

The Stop Violence office provides support and information to the University of Wyoming community regarding sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking.  


Gender and Women's Studies

The Women's Studies Department offers students the opportunity to explore issues of gender and sexuality through a major, minor, and graduate program. The curriculum stimulates us to reflect and review on how our knowledge is gendered.

The Bettys

The Bettys is the only all-female a cappella group at the University of Wyoming, nearing 10 years as an RSO. Known for black dresses and pink heels, the Bettys perform songs old and new at many places around Laramie and the UW campus.

The purpose is to create a supportive body for the growing number of women in engineering and establish current and future contracts within the profession of engineering.




Naughty Pines Derby Dames

Promote teamwork, fitness, and the sport of roller derby while functioning as a nonprofit organization benefiting the Laramie Downtown Clinic.

Wyoming Women's Foundation

The Wyoming Women's Foundation makes grants that benefit women and girls as well as our communities overall. As the only statewide fund dedicated to funding for women and girls, donations are leveraged through our endowment and grant-making is focused on lasting change. As an endowed fund of the Wyoming Community Foundation, your contribution is safe and well-managed. In partnering with the community foundation we share resources and expertise, making our organization's operations efficient and your contribution effective.

Wyoming Council for Women's Issues

The vision of the Wyoming Council for Women's Issues (WCWI) is to work to improve the quality and equality of life for Wyoming Women. WCWI focuses its actions on the needs and concerns of Wyoming women in the following areas: (1) employment practices, (2) educational opportunities, (3) home and community, and (4) legal rights and responsibilities.


League of Women Voters

Encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy.

National Organization for Women (NOW)

NOW is dedicated to making legal, political, social and economic change in our society in order to achieve our goal, which is to eliminate sexism and all oppression.

The mission of Planned Parenthood Affiliates is to provide comprehensive reproductive information and complementary health care services.

 National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL)

The goals of NARAL include better access to more effective contraceptive options and to reproductive health care and information.



American Association of University Women (AAUW)

AAUW provides funding and a support system to women fighting sex discrimination at colleges and universities.
