Institute Goals
- Support and strengthen personal and professional relationships among Wyoming’s secondary and postsecondary social sciences faculty.
- Identify common struggles in promoting critical thinking for students at the secondary and postsecondary levels. Work through several complex problems examining strategies appropriate for secondary and postsecondary students.
- Examine Common Core State Standards in reading, writing, and critical thinking and connect to anthropology, geography, history, and political science course work.
- Address common concerns and challenges around dual/concurrent enrollment courses.
