Law, Leadership, and Ethics Conference
August 5, 2021-August 6, 2021

The University of Wyoming College of Education is proud to announce the 2021 Law, Leadership, and Ethics Conference to be held at the UW Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center and the UW College of Law. This conference is designed to build upon the traditions of the past and provide school board members, superintendents, principals, and other school leaders with an opportunity to learn together about the legal environment within which our schools operate.

Conference sessions will cover current issues in education policy and foundations for effective educational leadership. Attendees will also get to witness a mock trial with an educational focus.

The conference is sponsored by the UW College of Education, UW Trustees Education Initiative, and Wyoming School Boards Association. Supporting sponsorships provided by UW College of Law, Wyoming Association of School Administrators, and Wyoming Association of Secondary School Principals.

Ten (10) points toward the Certified Board Member Program will be awarded to board members who attend the Conference. PTSB and CLE credits may also be available.

Reading and Writing Across the Academic Disciplines (PK-12)
September 18, 2021

The UW Literacy Research Center and Clinic (LRCC), is excited to announce an one-day virtual literacy institute to be held in place of the in-person literacy conference this fall.

Each speaker will pre-record their session and the group will listen together. Speakers will be available after their presentation to engage in a follow-up discussion and field questions from attendees.
Registration is required and the cost of attendance is $20. Undergraduate students can attend for just $10. Each attendee will be emailed a link to join the virtual conference prior to the event. To register, click on the following link: Registration Link.
