Chief Executive Officer, Crile Carvey, founded OtraTech, a software product development company, in June of 2010.

In August of that same year, OtraTech received a USDA SBIR Phase I grant for research on developing software that minimizes the challenges involved in optimally sighting Small Wind Turbines. The selection software product will assist rural Americans who are interested in using wind power for their home or business.

In September of 2011, OtraTech applied for DoD SBIR Phase I funding for TRADS, route and load planning software for Army ground troops.
