• Background and Accomplishments
Joe joined the WTBC in December of 2012 and works with client companies, assisting with the development of their businesses. Prior to joining the WTBC team, Joe worked in aerospace manufacturing operations in several roles of increasing responsibility.
Joe began his business career in supply chain management working to transition hardware from high cost domestic suppliers to low cost sources in Eastern Europe. In order to continue corporate career development Joe was asked to join a business development team for a newly acquired machine shop in Poland. He was tasked with transitioning a manufacturing line from a US site to Poland which consisted of 40 moderately complex machined parts. Joe spent approximately 200 days in Poland in support of this project.
Joe’s career continued to develop when he was asked to take a supervisor role in a domestic machine shop. He provided leadership during an international transition which offloaded the firm’s work to external sites and resulted in production line closures. He began this role with 34 direct reports (union machinists) and was responsible for production of rotors, starter rotors, nozzles and shafts.
Joe adds value to the WTBC through his experience in manufacturing operations. Prior to his business career Joe had eclectic opportunities which provided experiences living in WY, CA, CT, MA and TX.
