Michael was raised in Green River, Wyoming. He completed his undergraduate studies in Physiology at the University of Wyoming. He and his wife, Alysha, returned to Wyoming after living in Portland, Oregon for two years. In Oregon, Michael prepared for medical school by working as a licensed caregiver. Michael first began exploring a career in medicine after he developed a curiosity for human physiology. After spending time working with patients, Michael is thrilled to train as a physician. He draws inspiration from helping patients make important health decisions, as well as the impact that a physician has on the community. Michael is open to a variety of fields in medicine, but is currently leaning towards Internal Medicine. In his free time, Michael enjoys cooking, hiking, books, and movies with Alysha.
