Mason is from Gillette, Wyoming. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD, majoring in Biology. Afterwards, he began working at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD on the Orthopedics and Neurology Unit. Mason is currently interested in working in Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine, but is open-minded to other possibilities. He wanted to become a physician because of the positive effects healthcare workers had on himself and his family. In his free time, Mason enjoys fishing, exercising, and spending time with his fiancé, Kayla, and their two dogs, Koda and Storm.
