Rikki grew up in Cheyenne, WY before graduating from the University of Wyoming. She earned a Bachelor of Science in physiology and molecular biology in 2017. During her time at UWyo, she was a McNair Scholar and completed a research internship in an endocrinology lab. Here, she was introduced to the world of biomedical research and explored her interest in medicine and science. She then pursued a Master of Science at the University of Kansas Medical Center in a reproductive physiology lab, where she developed a passion to advocate for women's health. Although Rikki's current medical interests focus on obstetrics and gynecology, she is excitedly looking forward to exploring all medical specialties. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and experimenting with new foods, gardening, and yoga.
