Saul Isaiah Alvarado was born and raised in Cheyenne, WY. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in physiology. For two years prior to attending medical school, Saul worked in Cheyenne as both an emergency medical technician and emergency department technician. This was where he solidified his love for medicine and caring for patients. He is the youngest of four children and comes from a very large extended family. Saul is a first-generation college graduate and medical student. In his spare time, you can usually find him outdoors with his German Shepherd Fetward (Fetty for short) hiking and fly fishing. In the winter, Saul enjoys spending time snowboarding with his family and friends. He is excited for the opportunities the WWAMI program has to offer in returning to his home state as a skilled and experienced physician.
