Born in Lander, Wyoming, Ross grew up on a small cattle ranch in the foothills of the Wind Rivers. He has worked as a ski patroller, biomedical researcher, EMS educator, and an EMT at various levels across the state of Wyoming. He has traveled to South America for veterinary medicine and volunteered extensively for local racing organizations, the Downtown Clinic, and Safe Project. Ross has been published in the fields of lipid metabolism, cardiopulmonary disorders, and biomechanics and has taught for UW, NOLS, and state EMS programs. In practice, he is passionate about point of care ultrasound, growing his clinical Spanish repertoire, and increasing accessibility of medical care in Wyoming. Ross is drawn to internal medicine and emergency care. In his free time he is an outdoorsman often found skiing, biking, hunting or just wandering about with his labrador, Gertrude.
