Hyrum is from Lovell, Wyoming, where his family has lived for the past six generations. After serving a proselytizing mission in Florida, he attended BYU-Idaho, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical science. His passion for medicine has grown since volunteering with Global Medical Brigades, working as a medical scribe at the Idaho Heart Institute, and later working as a medical technician in an ophthalmology clinic. Hyrum’s medical interests lie in several fields of medicine and is excited to further explore several different specialties. During his free time, he loves being with his wife and daughter, as well as enjoying the outdoors through hiking, hunting, and archery.
