Geriatric Health Internet Series
The Geriatric Health Internet Series is a 10-week series for healthcare professionals and students discussing the development and enhancement of health promotion interventions.

UW ECHO in Geriatrics
Healthcare professionals throughout the state will have the opportunity to receive best-practice recommendations for consideration in management of older adults by presenting challenging cases for discussion and feedback to a network of colleagues as well as a specialist care team. Each ECHO network will also feature a brief community discussion on a variety of important topics related to person centered care and culture change in long term care.

Technology for Optimal Aging Certificate Program
Technology for Optimal Aging is an online certificate program that will review the aging process, aging demographics, theories of aging, available technology, the importance of technology in aging, and applications of technology.

Rural Healthcare Conference: The Power of Rural
This statewide learning and networking opportunity provides a platform for health care organizations across the state of Wyoming to come together for information on major issues facing the delivery of rural health services.  If your rural surroundings impact how you deliver health care to the community, this is the conference for you.  We hope you will join us June 5 – 7 in Laramie, Wyoming. This year we will be feature two pre-conference workshops: Conflict Resolution and the Role Personality Plays and SBIRT Implementation into Primary Care settings

Dementia Care Certificate
The dementia care certificate is designed for professional direct care providers of older adults across care settings. The goal of the certificate is to increase providers' knowledge of dementia and to enhance confidence in caring for people with dementia.

Caring with Confidence DVD Training Series
Caring with Confidence is a program designed to educate certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and other direct care workers on how to manage challenging behaviors that are often associated with dementia. The program focuses on factors contributing to problem behaviors and non-medical interventions including strategies to handle wandering, agitation, and inappropriate sexual behavior. The training also includes information about caregiver stress and strategies to prevent burnout..

Transition Across the Community Team© (TACT)
To provide high-risk care management services to better manage high-risk patients as they transition through the continuum of care and connect with community-based services. TACT is powered by the Wyoming Institute of Population Health, a division of Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
