Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA) Rocky Mountain Chapter Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the Geospatial Information and Technology Association, Rocky Mountain Chapter.

Eligibility
UW graduate and undergraduate students whose degree program focuses on the use of GIS (Geographic Information Science) technologies are eligible for this scholarship.

RMURISA GIS Scholarship

The Rocky Mountain chapter of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (RM-URISA) is sponsoring a financial award for students using GIS in their studies. Any undergraduate or graduate student attending school in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah or Wyoming is eligible to apply.


RM-URISA will issue three awards in 2019 depending on the student's level of study.

PhD Candidates: $500
Graduate Students: $500
Undergraduate: $500 (Degree seeking 4-year or 2-year students with GIS certificate)

Students can view the submission requirements and complete their application at: https://rocky-mountain-urisa.hub.arcgis.com/pages/scholarship. Complete applications are due by November 15, 2019. Awards will be announced on or before Dec 6, 2019. Any questions should be directed to rm.urisa.scholarships@gmail.com.
