Have questions about how to access geospatial data? The  Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center (WyGISC) and the Brinkerhoff Geology Library are providing a venue to answer your questions.

With the use of spatial technologies growing rapidly in a multitude of disciplines, access to and use of GIS and other spatially-related data has become prevalent at UW. In order to meet the geospatial data needs of students, faculty and staff across campus, WyGISC and the Brinkerhoff Geology Library have continued their partnership from the fall semester 2010, and extended through the Spring 2011 semester, to provide a venue to answer geospatial data access-related questions.

This "GIS Consultation Desk" will be open Thursday 2-5 PM during the Spring 2011 semester in the Brinkerhoff Geology Library, which is located on the first floor of the S.H. Knight Geology Building in the northwest corner of the UW Campus. Appointments are appreciated, though drop-ins are also welcome.

This is a pilot project developed by WyGISC and University Libraries to support geospatial data access needs across campus.
