Wyoming Arrest Statistics

The Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program began with law enforcement agencies in 400 cities from 43 states submitting crime data in January 1930 and now encompasses approximately 17,000 law enforcement agencies nationwide that voluntarily contribute their crime statistics. Wyoming UCR statistics are collected by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigations (WDCI). The Center for Justice Research at the Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center (WYSAC) has generated arrest rates based upon the WDCI data for specific crimes committed in Wyoming. All data pertains to arrests made within the state of Wyoming from 1990-2003. The arrest rates are calculated per 10,000 individuals. The populations used in the calculations of the rates are from the U.S. Census Bureau and include juveniles aged 10 to 17, and adults aged 18 or older.

Any questions concerning the data should be directed to WYSAC
