Child Care Shortage Assessment for Sweetwater and Sublette Counties, Wyoming

The Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center (WYSAC) assessed the child care shortage in Sweetwater and Sublette Counties by conducting three separate surveys and a set of focus groups for the Sweetwater County United Way. WYSAC’s efforts documented the needs of families for child care and the key community factors that impact child care needs and resources in these two counties. The final report offers recommendations for estimating the type, size, and number of child care facilities and providers needed to meet the needs of these two counties, both immediately and for the next three to five years.
