Wyoming Laboratory Information Management System

Overview

The Wyoming Department of Health contracted with WYSAC to develop a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for the State Chemical Testing Laboratory. The system, dubbed Ranger, tracks samples throughout the life cycle of the process, streamlining input of the samples, display, approval, and reporting. In 2006, the Chemical Testing unit analyzed over 46,000 samples and over 438,000 drug tests.
