Rachel Edie | President, co-founder, Graduate Student Network

I study how humans impact air quality because air pollution is one of the leading causes of premature death worldwide.

I am a 4th year Ph.D. student studying atmospheric science. My research focuses on measuring emissions of harmful chemicals and how they might be impacting the places we live, work, and play. I also helped found the Graduate Student Network to enrich graduate student life on campus. I love rock climbing and exploring Wyoming’s wild places.

Favorite scicom project I’ve worked on: Graduate Student Lightning Talks

Role(s) in WySCI: Workshop planning committee

Contact me about: Graduate student-specific events about how to share your science with the community. I’m also happy to help facilitate/organize events that graduate students would like to attend.
