The structure of the C*-algebras and the classification program have been developed rapidly in the last few years, and the 2015 RMMC summer school and CBMS conference will focus on this progress.

The RMMC Summer School will serve as an introduction to the structure of C*-algebras for graduate students and junior researchers; the CBMS conference will then sharply focus on the basic homotopy lemma and asymptotic uniqueness theorem, which are the main techniques in the recent progress of the classification of well-behaved C*-algebras.
