The department of Zoology and Physiology is fortunate to have a number of awards, fellowships, and scholarships to recognize the achievements of undergraduate and graduate students. Applications for the awards listed here are available at the administrative office of the Department of Zoology and Physiology (Room 428, Biological Sciences Building). You can also download the application form online. This is a multi-scholarship application form. Please check appropriate boxe(s) for your application. separate forms are required for the following scholarships: Frederic E. Clements Scholarship in Ecology, Women in Conservation Biology and Vern Bressler Fisheries scholarship (see below for eligibility and application forms).

Multi-scholarship common application form (check the boxes that apply)
Many small ($50 to $100 awards) and some large ($1,000 or more) awards for students in the Department of Zoology & Physiology majors. Eligibility varies according to award (see application form for details).
Eligibility: Upper division undergraduate students (junior or senior) who have completed 2 semesters at the University of Wyoming, and are pursuing a career in ecology (applied, basic, aquatic, or terrestrial). Students majoring in all departments that include an ecological component in their curriculum are welcome to apply. Approx. $1,000 usually.
Women in Conservation Biology (administered by the Botany Dept.)
Available to women graduate student enrolled in Botany or Zoology & Physiology. Applicant must have a research focus on conservation biology, ecology, and/or ecology education. Approximately $1,000 usually
Eligibility: Upper division undergraduate students (junior or senior) or graduate students who are Wyoming residents (i.e., paying in-state tuition) and who are studying fisheries biology or management. Preference is given to students studying cold water fisheries.
The award ceremony will be next semester, 4 p.m. Thursday 7-May-2015 in the Berry Center auditorium, with reception starting at 3:45 in the hallway outside the room.
