Project description (include project photo or graphic in email with this form)
The Wyoming Monuments and Markers Program is a cooperative effort among the Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources (SPCR), the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT), Wyoming Travel and Tourism, Wyoming Tribes, local governments, and private individuals and organizations. The Monuments and Markers Program installs new historical markers and maintains existing monuments, markers, and interpretive signage.
The objectives of this project are to design a new database that meets the needs of all participating organizations and migrate the current data into the new database. In addition, a new web based interface will be developed that will allow public access to the data as well as the ability to update and add content by the project coordinators and volunteers.
