Live Local Work Local is a University of Wyoming student career outreach initiative to provide opportunities for University of Wyoming students to increase their awareness of Wyoming communities, companies, and careers by attending site visits and networking with employer representatives, and other UW alumni, about reasons to seriously consider careers in Wyoming. UW students come from local, and far and wide, locations; likely many of them are unaware of the abundant viable and productive careers and living possibilities within this state. The goals of LLWL are two-fold: 1) increase UW student career awareness of Wyoming opportunities and, 2) provide Wyoming communities the opportunity to showcase their businesses, careers, and cities. These UW Student Career Treks are organized in partnership between UW Career Services staff and our business and alumni contacts in Wyoming communities usually made up of members from Chambers of Commerce’s, UW Alumni, County Commissioners, and other established relationships from U. of Wyoming outreach efforts.
