Favorite part about UW:
My favorite thing about the University of Wyoming is the love and loyalty our students, staff/faculty, alumni and community have for this absolutely fantastic school. No matter where you are in the world wearing the brown and gold Steamboat, someone will say “Go Pokes” and you have an instant connection unlike any other. The bond amongst the UW family is truly a treasured one!

Favorite part about UW:
My favorite part about the University of Wyoming is Prexy's pasture. When you step on Prexy's you can feel the heartbeat of campus and that is where I fell in love with UW. The big boulders and spruce trees on Prexy's make you feel that you are walking in a forest vs a college campus. No other college campus is like the University of Wyoming!

Favorite part about UW:
I continue to be impressed by the welcoming and helpful spirit of faculty, staff and students around the UW campus! The positive, "can-do" mentality is not only contagious, but encouraging for all students who wish to experience UW through a variety of learning environments. Whether you are pursuing an online degree or program, or wish to enroll as an on-campus learner, you will find that UW quickly becomes home.

Favorite part about UW:
My favorite thing about the University of Wyoming is the sense of community and the passion people have for the university. I came from the other side of the country to come to UW and I was met with a welcoming environment and a beautiful campus that I really felt comfortable in and put me at ease. Laramie itself is a special town and it offers an amazing student experience to those who seek it out! Plus, there is nothing like campus on game days in the fall, the atmosphere is absolutely electric!

Favorite part about UW:
My favorite part about UW (other than UW translating to U will take W's) would be the sense of community and togetherness that comes with being a part of UW. The support that you feel from other people not just on campus, but also who live in the town and support the university is unmatched. Everywhere you turn there is a Steamboat logo or someone wearing Poke's gear. It really makes me feel like I am a part of something bigger.

Favorite part about UW:
My favorite thing about the University of Wyoming is the fact that no matter who you are or where you're from, there is a place for you here. We have hundreds of different organizations, many dedicated faculty and staff members, and thousands of friendly students who all share a passion for making the world a better place. On a more personal note, I moved here all the way from Michigan, which was quite the trek. I graduated from Central Michigan University back in December 2022, and was heavily involved on campus during my time there. Leaving was a very difficult thing to do, but coming to UW made the transition into the next chapter of my life so much easier. By the end of my first week on campus, it already felt like home. My fellow staff members have been incredibly supportive, I've been offered plenty of great opportunities, and most importantly, I've had a lot of fun! It's a great place to be, the state's pride for this university is truly unreal. It feels amazing to be a part of another college community where everyone is so excited to be here!

Favorite part about UW:
Once you join the UW community, you realize it will follow you wherever you go in life. I continue to run into UW graduates wherever I go whether it is domestic or abroad. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t gone to UW. The UW community provided me the support and guidance I needed to grow and learn. A place like the University of Wyoming makes you feel part of something bigger than yourself. You can never know when someone will say “Go Pokes” when you’re out wearing the Steamboat logo.
