The University of Wyoming is proud to offer the Nebraska Transfer Award to Nebraska residents who transfer to the University of Wyoming. Transfer students who have earned an associate’s degree with a 3.4 GPA or higher will pay tuition at 150 percent of the resident tuition, which is approximately $12,240 less than the standard non-resident tuition for students taking 15 credit hours per semester.
The Nebraska Transfer Award cannot be combined with the UW Transfer Commitment or any institutional scholarship aid, including those made possible by the University of Wyoming Foundation.
Note: All UW financial awards are subject to available funding, and are only available for eligible admits.

To be considered for the Nebraska Transfer Award, the UW Admissions Office must have the following:
Application for admission and the non-refundable $40 admission application fee
UW Transfer Opportunities application within WyoScholarships, the University of Wyoming’s scholarship system
Official college transcripts
Proof of associate's degree (reflected on transcript)
Students selected to receive the Nebraska Transfer Award must confirm their enrollment at UW by August 1, 11:59 p.m. MDT, for students beginning in the fall semester. For students beginning in the spring semester, the deadline to confirm their enrollment is December 1, 11:59 p.m. MDT.
The Nebraska Transfer Award is only available to first-time, entering Nebraska resident transfer students seeking their first bachelor's degree who have earned an associate's degree and have a minimum of a 3.4 transfer GPA.
This scholarship is renewable for up to 4 semesters (2 academic years) or up to the first bachelor's degree whichever comes first.
Students must maintain full-time continuous enrollment (12 semester hours) during the fall and spring semesters each year but is not available to use during the summer semester.
Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative UW GPA (evaluated at the end of each Spring semester).
