Scheduled Visits: A More In-Depth Experience
While our walk-in tours offer flexibility, a scheduled weekday visit may include meeting with specific departments, faculty and staff (pending availability), giving you a better understanding of your academic interests. If you’re looking for a personalized experience, we recommend reserving a spot for a scheduled visit at least a week in advance.

Parking for campus tours is located west of Hoyt Hall, north of E. Ivinson and between S. 11th and 12th Streets, in the "Future Cowboy Parking" area. Upon arrival, check-in with the Campus Visitor Center in Ross Hall to obtain your parking permit and place it on the dashboard of your vehicle to avoid a ticket.

Laramie is full of charm with many outdoor activities to enjoy, including hiking, skiing in the winter and exploring nearby trails. Downtown Laramie offers museums, galleries and local shops. Don’t forget to check out the iconic UW campus landmarks!
For your walk-in tour, wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking around campus. Be sure to bring any questions you have about UW's programs, admissions process, or student life. The weather in Laramie can change quickly, so make sure to layer and bring a coat just in case!
