UWAA Women’s Leadership Recognition

As part of the on-going celebration surrounding the 150th anniversary of Wyoming Women’s Suffrage, the UW Alumni Association is participating by recognizing the women of our board of directors, both former and current, who have dedicated their time, leadership and knowledge to serving the Association. We will also honor the women who are and have been employed by the Association who have continually strived to promote our vision and mission.

The UWAA originally planned to host a women’s leadership recognition ceremony at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center in Laramie on Saturday, September 5, 2020. With everyone’s safety in mind, it was decided to transition from having an in-person event to a virtual celebration. This panelist event will be pre-recorded and sent to our current/former board members/employees on September 3, and it will also be made available for anyone to view on this page and the UWAA YouTube page.

This page outlines the details of the virtual event and honors the women that have been involved with the organization by listing, former female board presidents, former/current female board members, and former/current female employees.

Thank you to our event sponsors!
