UW Online MBA Program Achieves National Rankings

Best Online MBA Programs badgeThe Online MBA Program ranking in U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 “Best Online MBA Programs” report is no surprise to Global Environmental Director for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and UW Online MBA student Korby Bracken.

“As a full-time employee that manages 40+ employees as well as a father and coach to my two kids, the University of Wyoming Online MBA program was a perfect fit for my hectic schedule,” said Bracken. “It allowed me the flexibility to get a world-class education on my schedule. There was no sacrifice of content quality from being onsite at the University versus online. The professors were available and always willing to assist with questions. I would highly recommend the program to any full-time professionals looking to expand their educational background in business.”

UW’s national ranking is based on factors such as admissions selectivity, reputation for excellence among peer institutions, and academic and career support services offered to students.

In addition to its U.S. News & World Report ranking, UW’s Online MBA Program also achieved a top-25 ranking from Best College Reviews and was selected as a “Best MBA Program” by the MBA Guide for 2019.

“My University of Wyoming Online MBA experience provided applicable information that I’ve leveraged to make better, more strategic decisions in my professional life,” said UW Online MBA student and Black Hills Energy Colorado Business Development Manager for natural gas Jake Godber.

UW’s Online MBA Program has globally recognized faculty who regularly are acknowledged for teaching excellence.

Professor Mark Peterson, MBA marketing faculty member, recently received the International Macromarketing Society’s top award; and Larry Weatherford, MBA emeritus professor, was recently recognized by the university for teaching excellence in off-campus programs.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International-accredited program also offers select experiential learning opportunities for its online MBA candidates, including participating in team-based consulting projects with clients across diverse industry segments, as well as networking opportunities with global industry leaders.
