Campus Safety

The University of Wyoming is dedicated to providing our students, faculty, staff, and visitors with a living and learning environment that is safe and secure. The following University resources have been dedicated to helping provide the highest levels of campus safety possible.

  • For crime information or to anonymously report a suspicious activity/person, please call UWPD at (307) 766-5179.

  • To discuss concerns about an individual student, please submit a UW CARES form or contact the Dean of Students office at dos@uwyo.edu or (307) 766-3296.

  • To discuss concerns about faculty or staff, or to report sexual harassment, discrimination or workplace violence please contact the Equal Opportunity Report and Response (EORR) office at eorr@uwyo.edu or (307) 766-5200.

  • For information about mental health concerns, please contact the University Counseling Center at (307) 766-2187

  • For after-hours and weekend help for mental health or suicide concerns, please call the UW Crisis Line at (307) 766-8989 and ask for the counselor on call. You can also call the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988

  • To request a welfare check, please contact UWPD at (307) 766-5179 or dial 911

  • For confidential support related to sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, family abuse and/or stalking, please contact SAFE Project at (307) 745-355.
