Giving takes many forms at the University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. Your contributions further strengthen our ability to deliver the highest quality educational, research, and outreach opportunities to Wyoming and the world.
UW Giving Day is an annual UW tradition spearheaded by the UW Foundation that raises
thousands of dollars in a single day for students and programs across campus
“UW Giving Day is about creating a culture of philanthropy, gratitude, and giving
back,” says Jack Tennant, Director of Annual Giving. “It’s about bringing together
all those who love Wyoming and its university and uniting them behind the common purposes
of education, research, and service.”
UW Giving Day will take place October 25-26, noon to noon, in conjunction with Homecoming.
Matches and challenges will be available to double the impact of your gift or unlock
challenge funds.
UW Giving Day is an amazing force for good for the University of Wyoming and its students and alums. Thank you for making it possible!

Private investments that provide the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences with funding for core initiatives. Annual Funds are among the most highly valued and strategically useful private investments. Unrestricted funds provide a steady stream of funding that enables the college to respond quickly to emerging opportunities, to pursue core initiatives, and to invest in programs where the need is greatest and the potential for success is highest.
When people give a gift to the University of Wyoming, they often establish an endowment, as opposed to the funds going directly toward immediate needs. This is because an endowment is a way to extend the life of the gift.
Endowments are conduits that allow yesterday's students help the students of today and tomorrow. They provide a firm foundation of assets that are held in perpetuity, the interest of which creates a steady stream of funding for those purposes chosen by the donor. This reliable income allows the university to plan and budget effectively, but most importantly it helps students achieve their educational goals, sending them down the path to success.

Graduate students are an integral part of the College of Business and are always in need of assistance with the costs associated with being in school.
Graduate students provide a tremendous amount of assistance to our faculty in both areas of research and teaching. They offer this assistance in addition to the research expectations they already have and their classwork obligations. Fellowships give graduate students a much needed support system that allows their minds to stay focused on what they want to accomplish.

We strive to ensure that our students are taught in an atmosphere that maximizes their potential to learn.
Students are able to get more out of their education when they have the most current and accessible information and technology. Our state-of-the-art building represents our efforts to provide high quality infrastructure and technology for our students, faculty, and staff. These efforts are ongoing as technology is consistently being updated and outdated. Your support can ensure that students today and students in 20 years are both educated in the most up-to-date and high quality way.
