Ph.D. Student (1)
A Ph.D. student position is available and funded through NSF EPSCoR. The research work of this position will focus on modeling of the the thermodynamics, kinetics, and transport phenomena in chemical looping based energy production system. Education and research background in thermal and mass transfer is required, and chemical engineering experience is a plus. Qualified applicants with good academic standing such as GPA≥3.0 and good GRE score (V≥153 and Q≥144) are encouraged. Applicant holding a Master degree with journal paper publication is preferred, for whom the GRE score requirement can be lowered.
