Brief Overview

VidGrid is a basic cloud-based video recording, editing, and storage application. VidGrid is embedded within WyoCourses, allowing instructors and students to easily record and upload within course assignments.

Instructors can record web-cam along with their screen, upload and host videos from other sources, and create folders to store and manage their recordings. VidGrid has many capabilities including interactive quizzes to be inserted within recordings (which can be integrated directly with WyoCourses gradebook), in-video comments, and a Guest Recorder option that allows students to record and post videos using a link provided by the instructor.

Accessibility note: Every video uploaded to VidGrid is automatically captioned.
