João Vaz

João Vaz is a behavioral and natural resource economist completing a dissertation for a Ph.D. in economics at the University of Wyoming. Vaz's research can be separated into two broad components: a behavioral and experimental component to understand how drivers of behavior can be harnessed to promote cooperation, and a bio-economic component to examine the link between ecological and economic systems. Vaz's is a member of the Beijer international network of young scholars, working on the topic of globalization and the biosphere. Before studying at UW, he received a B.Sc. and an M.Phil. in economics from the Nova SBE in Lisbon, Portugal.
