IECM 12.0 beta User Manual > Modules Included with the IECM > Pulverized Coal (PC) Plant > SET PARAMETERS > Fuel > 3. Auxiliary Fuel > Fuel Properties |
|
The Fuel Properties parameter screen allows you to edit the auxiliary natural gas properties.
The first set of inputs is our standard set of natural gas properties. The first property, Higher Heating Value, is calculated from the other properties and cannot be changed by the user.
Following the natural gas properties is the Total percentage, which is total percentage of all components. It should be 100%. The Total is highlighted in yellow.
The final parameter is the Auxiliary Gas Density. This is a weighted average of the individual densities of the natural gas constituents. This value is used in many unit conversions.
Warning: |
Uncertainty on this screen should only be used for Batch Processing. Varying the components independently does not make sense - if one percentage is higher, another percentage will need to be lower to keep the total at 100%. |
