|
This is a standard O&M cost result screen. The solid sorbents PSA system has the following variable cost components:
•Cooler and Condenser Sorbent: This is the annual cost of the sorbent used in the system. This is a function of the concentration of CO2 in the flue gas and the flue gas flow rate.
•Electricity: The cost of electricity consumed by the solid sorbents PSA system.
•Caustic (NaOH): This is the cost of NaOH caustic used by the SO2 polisher.
•Water: This is the annual cost for water to the solid sorbents PSA system; it is mainly required for cooling and also as process makeup.
•CO2 Transport: The CO2 captured at the power plant site has to be carried to the appropriate stor- age/disposal site. Transport of CO2 to a storage site is assumed to be via pipeline. This is the annual cost of maintaining those pipelines.
•CO2 Storage: Once the CO2 is captured, it needs to be securely stored (sequestered). This cost is based on the option chosen on theT&S Config parameter screen .
•Auxiliary CCS Cooling System: (Only shown when an Air Cooled Condenser is configured.) This is the cost of the auxiliary cooling system needed when an Air Cooled Condenser is used as the plant cooling system.
