As the Division's Academic Support person, the Credentials Analyst/Academic Advisor is the one to contact for advising and information about our degree programs. They work with class schedules, registration questions and issues, petitions, assigning advisors, and many more academic-related duties.  


In his previous position at the Michigan State University (MSU), Takashi worked as an F-1/ J-1 international student and scholar advisor. A Yokohama native, Takashi earned his bachelor's degree from Waseda University in Tokyo. In 2007, Takashi completed a master's degree in statistics/sociology at the Pennsylvania State University. While at Panasonic, Takashi was responsible for the promotion of electronic products to European countries. With AIG, Takashi developed new insurance products/policies, which required extensive knowledge of commercial property insurance underwriting. 

Before MSU, Taskashi supported the College's international strategies and initiatives and actively engaged in all international and domestic student recruitment and retention efforts at the University of Kentucky. Takashi has traveled extensively within Asia. His travels have also taken him to numerous locations in North America, including such diverse destinations as Cancun, Mexico and Ontario, Canada to rural eastern Kentucky.
