Course Overview: Covers the law applying to the electronic media, including broadcast licensing, the fairness doctrine in broadcasting, cable television regulation, regulation of the new communication technologies such as the Internet, and the regulation of telecommunications. The latter topic will include the breakup of AT&T, as well as the 1996 Telecom act.
