Jay Jennings-Gresham served as the Student Clinic Director for the Civil Legal Services Clinic during the summer of 2018. Hailing from Landrum, South Carolina, Gresham earned dual bachelor’s degrees in History and Psychology from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He also spent time studying at the University of Glasgow in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.
While in law school, Jay has been active in gaining valuable legal experience. Between his 1L and 2L years, he spent a summer interning for United States Senator Lindsey O. Graham of South Carolina. Following his summer served as the Student Clinic Director for the Civil Legal Services Clinic, he began an externship with City of Laramie Municipal Court Judge, Dona Playton.
He has also been active in many College of Law activities. He served as the Vice President for the Potter Law Club during the 2017-2018 academic year, he competed in the 9th Annual WTLA Voir DIre Competition, and is a member of the student chapters of the WTLA, the Federalist Society, Wyoming Law Students for Equal Justice, amd Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
