I am an avid mountain biker, and I enjoy spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors with my husband and our corgi, Wynston. I grew up in LaGrange, Wyoming. I came to the University of Wyoming to obtain my bachelor of science in business management, where I was involved in the College of Business’s UW Ethics Club and fundraiser SparkTank. After graduating in May 2020, I came to the College of Law to obtain my law degree and learn how to help others navigate the judicial system.
Working as a student attorney in the Civil Legal Services Clinic has provided me with extremely valuable experience. There, I’ve learned how to represent clients, plead to the court, and work with opposing counsel to resolve legal disputes. I’ve also seen how much value the UW law clinics provide to clients across the State of Wyoming.
After graduating law school and passing the bar, I hope to use my legal education to apply blockchain solutions to legal problems. Some areas that I am interested in are blockchain’s application to state governance of water rights, real estate finance, and electronic court filing systems. I am passionate about new technology, and I hope to help develop this newly emerging body of law.
