Teaching Writing in Wyoming

TWW logo

Teaching Writing in Wyoming (TWW) is an annual state-wide colloquium aimed at bringing together writing educators in grades 6-13. The colloquium focuses on discussing best practices in curriculum, innovative approaches to teaching, and assessment practices across all levels. The colloquium often features dynamic speakers and break-out sessions.

TWW is co-sponsored by the School-University Partnership, the LeaRN Program, and the English Department. The TWW colloquium is a part of the School-University Partnership's Lost in Transition Initiative.

2014 TWW Colloquium

This fall, TWW teamed up with the Literature Summit to present the 2014 Lost in Transition: Writing and Literature in the 21st Century. 46 participants from across Wyoming came together to discuss the importance of close reading and writing for students' deeper learning. For more details about the colloquium, visit our Past Colloquiums page.
